It just accured to me. If people send music to the site, what we could do is set up a radio station so that we could choose the songs that we wanted to hear when we wanted too! Weather it be rock, pop, tnb, hiphop or dance. Yeah, i think it would be a great idea. Also another thought. If we were to get the station up and running, we could get users to do little introes for the songs. I don't know, things like. You're listening to the zone bbs radio and now here's korn and comming undone! What do you think of my little idea?
I like it, although it would probably have to be a feature for premium members only.

um, why? I mean, if you want music... go to a radio site? Good suggestion I guess, but kind of pointless
I am not sure but i think music could be a problem because of copyright reasons. It's not easy to broadcast music unless you pay copyright for each song you play or something. Atleast that's what happens in the UK i don't know about America. But maybe we could do podcasts and put them on the site with different subjects for example music that zoners write so this wouldn't need copyright money but this happens in audio profiles anyway so i don't know how easy is to have a zone radio..

Love the idea but yes only for premium members.
Cala and Nikos both have it right. I'm sorry to be scathing, but this is a completely groundless suggestion. Why do we need to play music on the Zone? Anyone with Winamp ... yeah.
you could always use ventrilo to broadcast music, I heard that you can set it up so that it can do stereo sound.
But bandwith and copyright are two big issues.
The laws are the same here as in the UK reguarding copyright laws.
Yeah, well, if we got songs that people made themselves, and they haven't put cr on it, then we could do it i guess. But i like the idea of a pod cast! That would be cool. The primium thinggy could be for the requesting of the songs, so you could listen to the station if you weren't primium, but not be able to interact!
we on the zone advertise many radio stations already. Jammin'853 is one of them, and they have some pretty decent shows, and also play some pretty good music! I don't think zone radio might go down too well though...

Well I think its a good idea but shod not just be premium Members. I think even the free members should be able to interact with the station. Its fair.
What i ment by interacting was being a presenter or requesting stuff. If ouy were free, you could rite in to the presenter but not request stuff!
